 This short stay trip combines the gourmet food at the Redbank Lodge with 4 great rounds of golf. Stay in one base and travel a maximum of 45 minutes for your golf. All this without having to drive in Dublin City. When you want to see the sights of the city take the train! Take this trip in combination with similar trips to the Northwest or Killarney for a longer stay in Ireland.

Itinerary

 

Day 1 – Arrive Dublin – Welcome tour briefing – Transfer to Redbank Lodge. Play Portmarnock Links in the afternoon, designed by Bernhard Langer, perhaps the best maintained links in Ireland, with natural looking links holes (Redbank Lodge)

Day 2 – Golf today at Baltray, Also known as County Louth GC, “the greatest unknown course in the country” is always in excellent condition. (Redbank Lodge - B)

Day 3 – Travel to the North of Dublin today to take in the Island GC, surrounded on three sides by the sea, a true links course (Redbank Lodge – B)

Day 4 –  Today you travel just down the coast to Portmarnock GC. Having hosted the Irish Open many times (again in ’03 and ’04) and the Walker Cup, it is said to have the finest five finishing holes in golf.  (Redbank Lodge – B)

Day 5 – Depart Dublin
