NORTHWEST GEMS TOUR

 Itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrive Shannon – Welcome tour briefing- Transfer to Dromoland Castle Hotel (Dromoland)

Day 2 – Transfer up to Lahinch today to play Lahinch GC, dating back to 1892 and later redesigned by Dr. Alistair Mackenzie, Lahinch features a couple of blind holes, and true classic links flavor. After golf transfer to Ashford Castle, Co Mayo. (Ashford – B)

Day 3 – Play golf today on the 9 hole course at Ashford and spend the rest of the day fishing or exploring the beautiful shores of lough Corrib. (Ashford – B)

Day 4 – Transfer north today to play Enniscrone GC, Eddie Hackett and Donald Steele designed this rugged dunes links in two stages, both improving on the original 1918 design. After Golf transfer to Coxtown Manor. (Coxtown manor – B)

Day 5 – Transfer to Co Sligo today to play Rosses Point, Really named County Sligo GC, this 1894 hilly links is quite remote but very beautiful, with many calling it the best 18 holes in Ireland. (Coxtown Manor – B)

Day 6 – Continue in a Northerly direction today to Donegal GC, The surrounding dunes at “Murvagh” make for a very good and exciting links course, but with emphasis more on the difficulty of the course than on finesse.  After golf Transfer to the Luxury Ballylfiin Lodge and Spa. (Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa – B)

Day 7 – Play Ballyliffin Glashedy Links today, estined to be one of the best links in Ireland, this gorgeous creation is already among guest favorites on the Emerald Isle.  (Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa – B)

SOUTHWEST ECONOMY TOUR

Day 2 – Down the road to play Lahinch GC today, dating back to 1892 and later redesigned by Dr. Alistair Mackenzie, Lahinch features a couple of blind holes, and true classic links flavor. (Greenbrier Inn - B)

Day 3.Travel South today and cross the Shannon to Ballybunion Old Course, This course is one of Ireland’s greats, a natural course of the highest class, with perhaps the finest natural dunes ever for a championship links.  Ranked 12th in the world. Transfer to Brook Lodge.  (Brook Lodge- B)

Day 4 – Travel North to Tralee today, designed by Arnold Palmer and generally considered to be his finest work outside of North America.  Situated on a beautiful corner of Kerry’s southwest coast, some of the greatest views in the world can been seen from the tough holes. Always listed in the top 25 most beautiful golf courses on earth. (Brook Lodge- B)

Day 5Travel part of the Ring of Kerry to play Dooks today, it is a traditional links course with a unique character that must be seen to be believed. (Brook Lodge – B)

Day 6 Travel a short distance today to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club to play the signature lakeside course Killeen. (Brook Lodge – B)
